Founded in 1929, this is the homepage of the parent Club of the English Cocker Spaniel breed in Ireland.

The Club is a specialist breed Club. Its objectives are to promote the English Cocker Spaniel breed, to promote responsible dog ownership including keeping, welfare, breeding, selling and disposing of dogs by associate members that are accepted for registration by the Irish kennel Club and who are resident in Ireland.

To urge the adoption of such types of breeders and judges etc., to establish Field Trials, to offer prizes at shows, and to adopt such other means as may be deemed advisable for the betterment of the breed.

A Greeting from our President

Welcome to the parent Club of the English Cocker Spaniel in Ireland.

We hope our website shares an insight into the Breed and a glimpse into Show and Working aspects of the Cocker on this island.

Ireland has shared a close involvement with this Breed for over a century and many a modern line has a bit of Irish in it somewhere.

This website is dedicated to preserve this heritage and document both the Cocker and the people who love the Breed on this island.

If one of this Merry Breed to shares your home, let me extend an invitation from our Community to explore, get involved and discover the world of Irish Cockers!
